| Step back in time to the Colorado Gold Rush as Buena Vista reflects on their gold mining past. Try gem panning, watch the mountain men/blacksmith, listen to music, rent and wear a costume from the 1800's. Sunday, the third leg of the Triple Crown Burro Race has athletes running beside a burro equipped with mining tools. They run 12 miles around the surrounding mountain. You too may run with a burro! Buy a duck race ticket and win prize money. Over 100 vendors, food, a beer garden, toilet seat races and rides for children |
