Four Winds Gallery features the mixed media abstract and semi-abstract paintings and prints of artist and owner, Linda Frances. She has a large series of paintings depicting each of the 50 states and its state tree. This group of paintings should be complete and in print by June of 2009. Prints range in size from matted and framed to 8 by 10 inches, and larger. Prints can be ordered any size up to the size of the originals, which vary in size. Many are 30 by 40 inches.
People buy the state-tree prints for many reasons: To remember a childhood home, to send to family back home, to remember a loved one, because she went to college there, because they like the image or the colors, as a housewarming gift, as a moving gift, to remember their honeymoon, for an office, as a grouping of a couples home states, and many more reasons.
